Who is Sylvester Stallone?

Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone is noted internationally and decorated as one of the best American actors, screenwriters, directors, and producers who have excelled in many action movies nationwide. Stallone’s beginning as an actor was not an easy task for him over the years when he arrived in New York City in 1969. He was noted as one of the best professionals in the movie industry.

In spite of his success, he maintains a humble and open attitude toward learning new skills that will enhance his existing abilities.

Stallone won his first critically acclaimed acting award for his co-starring role as Stanley Rosiello in the movie “The Lords of Flatbush.” His birth city is New York City. He was born on the 6th day of July, in the year 1946.

CAREER

Stallone came into the limelight in 1976 as a successful actor and screenwriter with the role he played as boxer Rocky Balboa. He wrote the screenplay; he portrayed himself as an underdog boxer fighting numerous savage opponents, and he won the world heavyweight championship.

In 1977, Sylvester became the third actor in cinema to be nominated for two Academy Awards for best actor and unedited screenplay.
