Early life

Genevieve Nnaji hail from Imo state Nigeria, born onthe3 May 1978 in Mbaise, Imo state, and brought up in Lagos, from a family of 8, she has been the fourth position, Genevieve grew up in a middle-class family, where her father worked as an engineer and mother a nursery school teacher.

Genevieve attended Methodist girls college (Yaba Lagos), also proceed to the University of Lagos, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in creative arts, then she started auditioning for acting jobs at Nollywood.

Genevieve Nnaji resumed her acting career at the age of 8 in the then-popular soap opera Ripples television show. at age 19 Genevieve was introduced to the growing Nigerian movie industry with the movie titled most wanted and many more. Genevieve also feature in several commercials, she became the face of Lux in Nigeria and other modeling industries

Awards and Achievements

Genevieve has been given several awards and nominations for her wonderful work and also as best actress of the year award in 2001, Genevieve Nnaji has been a role model and inspiration to many young youths.
