What is Cyber Security
Cyber security is the protection of information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. It is a broad field that includes a wide range of topics, such as network security, application security, data security, and identity management.
Confidentiality means that information is only accessible to authorized users. Integrity means that information is not changed or destroyed without authorization.
There are many threats to cyber security, such as malware, phishing, and social engineering. Malware is known to be an application or program or software designed to destroy or damage or disrupt a computer system. Phishing, on the other hand, is described as a social engineering attack that is designed and developed to trick users into giving up their personal information. Social engineering is a technique that is used to manipulate people into doing something they would not normally do.
