VMware, VirtualBox, and Hyper-V are all type 1 hypervisors, which means that they run directly on the host machine’s hardware. In most cases, all three have a different task to perform but derive the same answer.

VMware is a commercial hypervisor that is widely used in enterprise environments. It offers a wide range of features, including support for multiple operating systems, high availability, and fault tolerance. VMware is also known for its strong security features.

VirtualBox is a free and open-source hypervisor that is popular for use in development and testing environments. Users have no difficulties using VBox. However, VirtualBox does not offer the same level of features as VMware, such as high availability and fault tolerance.

Hyper-V is a hypervisor that is included with Windows Server. This goes with companies that use the most common servers as in Microsoft Windows cooperation servers. Hyper-V offers a wide range of features, including support for multiple operating systems, high availability, and fault tolerance. However, Hyper-V is not as widely used as VMware, and it does not have the same level of third-party support.
