The Mobile(Android/iPhone) Version of Scratch

Scratch has other versions online and can be installed and perform the same duties as the PC version. Meanwhile, it can also be used as a web-based platform.

However, there are a few workarounds o access Scratch on Android devices. See below:

  1. Scratch Web:

You can have full access to Scratch web, which is also a web-based version that enables users to perform many and lots of tasks that can be assigned to the Sprite. This also allows you to create and edit Scratch projects, but it may not provide the same user experience as the native application.

  1. ScratchJr:

This is mostly downloaded and installed on devices or the iPhones that perform most tasks. It is known to have offered a Scratch like experience on most and the majority of Android devices. Though they are not officially affiliated previously, they perform the same duties as the main and native applications.

However, it has been noted that it is an official app and can be used as such.

To download and install the mobile version, follow the below instructions:

  1. Go to Play store
  2. Type and search for Scratch
  3. Locate and click on ScratchJr
  4. Click on it
  5. Wait till the download is done
  6. Wait till the installation is completed as well

Congratulations.
