The QBasic Corner
Qbasic is an application, or a programming language used in performing lots of activities. Note that qbasic file will be saved with the .BAS extension.
DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING QBASIC
- Download the application from google by typing the filename in the search dialogue box
- Next is, locate the file where it was downloaded.
- Double click on the file to install.
- Wait for a while as the installation is done.
To run the application, press the Function key 5, thus F5 from the keyboard, note: not F and the number 5, but F5 among the function keys.
Alternatively, a user can also run the file or the program by clicking RUN from or on the menu bar.
Few tips for user:
The PRINT COMMAND: The print command is used to display the output on the screen, it can also be used, however, in different ways, thus concerning different types of output.
Syntax:
PRINT “ hello I am your friend”
Input commands
print <”numbers”>
print 55
