Proper way of shutting down a PC

Shutting down a personal computer is also known as turning off the computer system and its other peripheral devices. There are two main types of booting, namely, Cold and warm booting. Booting and shutting down are not extremely the same, booting could also termed as the process of turning the PC on or restarting the entire computer system.

Most users, normally and it has become a habit for them to be hitting the on and off button at their own time as this could result in damage to the entire system or even components on the mother motherboard. Pressing and holding the power button down requires a special treatment thus when the PC is frozen it demands a force shut down.

How to shut a PC down

1. Click on the start button as this can be found on the main taskbar on the computer desktop

2. Beforehand, make sure all active windows are closed properly or save all unsaved applications

3. Click on POWER

4. Make an option by selecting shut down or restart 

5. Click on the shut-down button

6. Wait till the PC shuts down

7. Turn o all other peripheral devices

8. Finally, turn off the UPS, that is the POWER SIEGE
