There are a few ways to secure a folder. One way is to encrypt the folder. This means that the contents of the folder are scrambled so that they cannot be read by anyone who does not have the encryption key. To encrypt a folder, you can use a file encryption program such as 7-Zip or VeraCrypt.
Another way to secure a folder is to set a password on it. This means that anyone who wants to access the folder must enter the password first. To set a password on a folder, you can right-click on the folder and select “Properties”.
How to Secure a FOLDER
1. Select and click on the “Security” tab and click on “Advanced”.
2. In the “Permissions” section, click on “Add” and enter the name of the user or group that you want to give access to the folder.
3. Then, click on the “Permissions for” field and select “Read & execute”. Finally, click on “OK”.
You can also secure a folder by using a file system that supports permissions. This means that you can control who has access to the folder and what they can do with the files in the folder. To use a file system that supports permissions, you can format your drive with a file system such as NTFS or APFS.
Once you have secured a folder, you should make sure that you back it up regularly. This will help to protect your data in case the folder is accidentally deleted or corrupted.
