How to save an HTML file in NOTEPAD

Saving an HTML file in Notepad is done using the normal ways to save a file or document. In addition, the only difference is by adding file extensions, such as .doc , .HTML ,.txt, etc.

How to load or open NOTEPAD:

  • Click on the start button
  • Move to all programs
  • Go to accessories
  • Select and click on Notepad

ALTERNATIVELY:

  • WIN+R
  • Type notepad
  • Press the enter key once

ALTERNATIVE 3:

  • In the search box located on the taskbar
  • Click inside it
  • Type notepad
  • Press the enter key once

ALTERNATIVE 4:

  • Right-click on an empty space on the desktop
  • Choose NEW
  • Select and click on notepad

Follow the below steps to save

  1. Click on the file from the main menu or the menu bar
  2. Click on Save As
  3. Ensure to select a location for the file to be saved
  4. Enter the file name in the field followed by the file extension name, for example, John.html
  5. Click on the save button to save the file.
