Notepad is known to be one of the best text editors used nationwide by every single programmer. Notepad is not a code editor but a text editor instead. It supports opening, saving, printing, and editing text files.
Notepad does not have advanced features such as syntax highlighting, search and replace, or advanced formatting options. However, it remains a straightforward choice for those who only need basic text editing capabilities.
How to launch Notepad using the run command
- Hold down the windows key and press the letter R, which means run
- Type in the dialogue box on the notepad
- Click on OK or press the enter key once to launch the application.
Note Pad can also be launched through the following commands: double-clicking on the application on the desktop or right-clicking on the shortcut icon and clicking on open.
However, it is also noted that typing the keyword, thus notepad, in the search box can also allow the user to accept the launch.
