In computing, a user can choose to disable or enable the sound settings or system in the computer system. However, there are many ways through which the process can be done.
To enable or disable system sounds in Microsoft Windows 10, follow the below steps:
- Ensure to right click on the speaker icon located on the taskbar.
- Point to sounds and click on it from the given contextual menu
- In the Sound window environment, make sure to click on the sounds tab
- Locate ‘Program’s Event’ section, this gives out a list of various systems events that can play a sound.
- Ensure to select the event and choose either no sound or one of the other sound options or listed from the ‘Sounds’ drop down menu.
- The user would need to test the sound selected, however, he/she has the liberty to click on the ‘test’
- Finally, when all is done, the user has to click on apply(if any) or simply click on Finish.
