The term Dark Mode, in Windows simply refers to the feature that changes the appearance of the entire operating system user interface, for example, the built in applications and some other third-party applications, to a darker color scheme or design.
How to Enable Dark Mode in Windows 10
- Go to the settings windows in the computer system by clicking on the start button, then the gear icon
- Move to personalization
- In same window, click on the list of options provided
- Choose or make an option by selecting your preferred color
- Select Dark, from the contextual menu given
Alternatively
- A user can or may also select Custom
- Then choose the Dark feature
- Choose the default Windows mode
- Choose the default application mode separately
NOTE:
Turning the aforementioned off can be very easy by following the same steps given and then selecting light instead of the dark feature.
