Why and what is the use of Cortana in computing?

Cortana as used in many PCs and operating systems has been developed and built by the Microsoft Company. It was named after a fictional character Cortana from the popular video game series known as Halo.

In addition, it was noted to be an inbuilt feature In Windows 10 which is designed to assist most users with lots of tasks and exercises, providing full assistance and information to the users as required.

It was known to be an AI-powered assistant that performs a lot of tasks such as:

• Answering questions in various fields
• Setting of reminders
• Managing calendars
• Performing tasks assigned
• providing recommendations as well
• Controlling devices
• Offering suggestive features when the need arises

How to Disable Cortana in Windows 10

1. Click on the start button located on the taskbar on the Windows desktop
2. Choose or click on the settings
3. Move to the Cortana button or menu and click on it
4. make an option by making changes in the given window, that is toggling off the switch under Cortana.

NOTE:

When you toggle to switch under Cortana, it delivers options such as suggestions, ideas, reminders and others.

Alternatively, the feature can also be disabled through the Run menu, moving to the registry editor and then navigating to the right keys as you make changes to the keys in the options given, that is changing the value to completely 0.
