How to calculate the mean of a vector in R programming

Let’s say you have been given the below question to solve in R programming:

Given that, a user is supposed to calculate the mean of a vector of numbers such as 1,2,3,4 and 5.

What is R Programming:

R Programming has been one of the best languages that helps most mathematicians especially when it comes to statistical computing and graphics. In addition, it has several packages such as calculus for symbolic differentiation and numDeriv for numerical differentiation.

If you want to write a more interesting program defining the mean, you can follow the below steps:

• feed in the following that is # Create a vector of numbers

• numbers c(1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

• Line 3 is meant to be empty

• # Calculate the mean

• Mean_value mean(numbers)

• Note that line 6 is also empty

• #Print the result

• Print(paste(“The mean is:”, mean_value))
