SIM in Information Technology is an acronym. This means Subscriber Identity Module. There are different kinds of SIMs, we have SIMM and DIMM. Single In-line Module and Double In-line Module. Currently, most and the majority use the SIMM since it is always fixed in the mobile device.
SIM has been provided globally by a group of entities called Internet Service Providers(ISP). The ISPs help messages of transformed data to be transmitted from a remote user to a local user or vice versa. Some of the service providers are as follows; Mobile Telecommunication Network, Vodafone Ghana, Tigo, and many others as Airtel.
How do I know if my SIM registration is successful?
With the details provided on your screen right after executing a command to the service provider’s remote server; this command when executed, tells whether it is successfully registered or not. The unique short code is *400# to all networks. Right after sending the code, the result is given or displayed.
