How can a folder be created

In computing, files, documents and other subfolders are kept in a secure place. Meanwhile, and optionally, there are users who preferred storing their personal files or document in an appropriate place for future use.

A folder is a container or a place, however, that stores files, documents and other folders, for instance, a subfolder.  It is used to organize files and make them easier to find. Folders can be nested inside other folders to create a hierarchical structure.

How can a folder be created?

There are many ways of creating a folder, also, there are places where the same folder can be created such as on the computer desktop, on the C drive or even in different locations such as a Hard disk drive or on a flash device.

Steps in creating a folder

1. Right-click on the computer’s desktop
2. Select and click on new
3. Click on Folder
4. Type your desired name
5. Click outside the folder when done or just press the enter key once.

NB:
A folder can equally be created on/in any other location as mentioned above.
