Group of Software Types( Basic Students)

Software simply means a set of instructions and codes that are built together and installed in the computer system to enable a user to perform a particular task or function. Note that there is nothing called softwares in Computing or Information Technology. Software is Software, not Softwares.

In other words, it is simply programs that are installed in the computer system that tells the computer hardware what to do and when to execute those tasks.

It can also be defined as a set of codes and instructions that controls the entire computer system with many and or fewer functionalities.
