Creating A Subfolder In A Main Folder

In Microsoft Disk Operating System, folders are called Directory. Creating a directory in DOS is different from that using Windows( any version). For instance, creating a directory carries the command such as:

md directory

Press the enter key once.

The syntax md above tells the computer to make a directory. Folders, likewise directories, help users to keep files and other subfolders. Folders, in Microsoft Windows, are always in yellow colour, thus the default colour.
