How To Write A Program/Code Using Scratch

o create your first program in Scratch, you will need to open the Scratch editor. You can do this by going to the Scratch website and clicking on the “Create” button. Once you have opened the editor, you will see a blank canvas.

This is where you will create your program.

To start, you will need to add a sprite to your program. A sprite is a character or object that can be moved around the screen. To add a sprite, click on the “Sprites” tab and then click on the “Add Sprite” button.

You will then be able to choose from a variety of sprites. Once you have chosen a sprite, it will be added to the canvas.

Now that you have a sprite, you can start to program it.

To do this, you will need to use blocks. Blocks are pieces of code that can be used to control the behavior of your sprite. To add a block, click on the “Blocks” tab and then drag and drop the block onto the canvas.

You can connect blocks together to create a program. To do this, simply drag the connector on one block to the connector on another block. Once you have created your program, you can run it by clicking on the “Green Flag” button. Here is an example of a simple program that you can create in Scratch:

This program will make your sprite move 10 steps forward every time the green flag is clicked.
