Network Drives
Network Drives are components attached to the computer network to enable users to share files and other resources available on the particular network. Those devices are shared on any topologies such as Star, bus, mesh, and many other available features.
The connectivity of a network drive is also known nationwide in the field of TECHNOLOGY as mapping, which is always done by the accounting department of a company, especially sharing software such as SAGE APPLICATION.
The network drives or devices hold data or files that every PC has access to in a way whereby when needed are distributed for future or current use. The drives could be connected wirelessly or through a local area network.
Disable and Enabling a Network Drive/Device
To disable and enable an external drive in networking, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Network and Sharing Center
2. Click on Change adapter settings
3. Right-click on the external drive and select Disable
4. To enable the external drive, right-click on it and select Enable.
