In computing, there are devices that assist users t feed the system for further instructions to be carried out, these components are known to be input devices. However, the core components also constitute the functionality of the entire computer system.
The term input means entering data into the computer system, or simply feeding the computer system; however, devices that perform those activities are termed Input Devices.

They assist users in sending data or instructions into the computer system for processing thus making it easier for users to understand the activities being fed into the system. Input devices are the first and foremost devices that form the computer system.
