MIN in MS Excel is one of the functions which is commonly used to find the minimum value in a range or in the entire workbook or worksheet. The short form of the Minimum function in Excel is MIN.
Activity:
In cell A2 we have 45, cell B7, holds 82, cell B3, has 88, R1 = 45 and C3 has 67. Calculate or find the minimum value in the entire worksheet.
Practical directives:

Feed the entire worksheet with the given values as given

Place the cursor or the cell activator where you want the answer to appear, or place the selector in/on a cell where you the answer to be fed in.

Type or press the equal sign ( = )

Type MIN
-
Open bracket
-
Feed the bracket with the cell reference addresses and or the argument, for example, A5, B8 etc

Close the bracket after entering

Press the enter key once
Simplification of the FUNCTION:
=MIN(A2,B7,B3,R1,C3,)
In the above given FUNCTION, it finds and calculates the minimum value in the range given, thus using the arguments or the addresses.
