How to format a table
- Make sure you click on the table you want to format
- Under the Table Tools, select and click on the design tab
- In the table styles group, make an option by selecting your precise design or style
- Click on the style to be applied
- In the available table styles options or group, select or clear the box next to each table element to apply or remove the selected style.
Adding or Removing Borders
- In the table tools environment, click on layout
- Move to the table group
- Ensure to click on select
- Click on select table
- Click on design tab
- Make an option by selecting borders and shading groups
- Click on your preferred design
How to remove borders from the whole table
- Go to tables tools
- Click on layout
- Go to table group
- Click on select
- Click on select table
- Under table tools click on design tab
- In the table styles group, click on borders
- Click on No border
Adding or removing borders to specified cells
To add a border to a specific or specified cell
- Go to the home tab
- Then move to paragraph
- Click on show or hide
- Make sure to select the cells you want including their end of cell marks
- Go to or under table tools
- Click on design tab
- In the table styles group, click on borders and then the boarder you want to add.
