Browsers, as in computing are also known to be part of the applications software group globally. These known applications help users to surf other web pages as required. Similar examples are as follows, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, and many more.
To stop Chrome from displaying ads generated from your browser history, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Chrome browser on your computer.
2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the window to open the Chrome menu.
3. Select “Settings” from the menu.
4. Move the mouse pointer to privacy and security and click on it for furtherance.
5. Under “Ads”, click on “Manage your ad settings”.
6. In the “Ads personalization” section, toggle off the switch next to “Ads based on your interests”.
7. Point to done and click on it to apply all current changes made.
After following these steps, Chrome will no longer display ads generated from your browser history.
