David Adedeji Adeleke well known as Davido is a songwriter and producer, philanthropist, David Hale is from Osun State and was born November 21st, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia United States, and was raised in Lagos State.

Davido’s father Adedeji Adeleke is a business magnate in Nigeria and his wife Vero Adeleke was a university lecturer. Davido is the youngest of five siblings and the third son of his father. Davido attended a British international school, at age 16, he returned to the U.S. to study business administration at Oakwood University, Alabama.

Davido later dropped out of school to further his musical career fully and moved to London where his vocals were worked on. Davido returned to Nigeria in the year 2011, put a stop to his music career, and agreed to honor his father by enrolling at Babcock University and graduating in July with a degree in music. Davido has four kids (2 girls & 2 boys).

Tragedically he lost his first son Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned in the pool at his father’s Banana Island residence.
